The Chicken Basket in Willowbrook opened in the summer of 1946 on Historic Illinois Route 66. Dell Rhea’s chicken has been bringing visitors from around the world on a regular basis for years.
Nostalgic 1940s Route 66 roadhouse featured on The Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives." Full service sit-down restaurant and cocktail lounge. Full menu includes favorites such as fried chicken, buffalo wings, baked macaroni & cheese and salad bar.
