A beautiful sprawling vineyard with full shop and tasting room.
Taste soft reds, crisp whites, and luscious fruit wines all made at the winery using the best of Illinois grapes. Watch wine being made and then relax and enjoy a glass of wine in the tasting room or on the deck overlooking the vineyard. The Sweet & Savory Plate of meats, cheeses, fruits and chocolate is available daily for a light lunch or snack. Special events are held throughout the year including vineyard tours, festivals, and wine and food pairings. A small private room is available for showers, parties, and meetings. A larger venue is available for weddings, reunions, and special events with a maximum of 130 guests. Visit their website to learn more about Famous Fossil wines or upcoming events. Open: June thru December: Daily: 11 am to 6 pm; January thru May: Wednesday thru Saturday: 11 am to 6 pm; Sunday: Noon to 5 pm.
