World's greatest homemade ice cream shop, or so we think. We make more than 20 varieties of homemade treats that tantalize the taste-buds. Homemade ice cream and waffle cones are made fresh daily!

Since 1983, the Dairyhäus has crafted and created Homemade Ice Cream treats in a small kitchen in historic downtown Rockton, Illinois. We abide by the hand-made, small batch ethos - every nut or chocolate chip is stirred by hand and every fudge ripple is hand-swirled.With unparalleled attention to detail, using the best possible ingredients, we create the freshest and creamiest Homemade Ice Cream. This season we offer our ice cream straight to your car through our curbside pickup or from our historic storefront. We love our customers and treat everyone like family. We’ve grown our partnership with Rockford Roasting Company and they are now scooping Dairyhäus Homemade Ice Cream into tasty waffle cones, delectable milkshakes, and of course decadent affogatos at their Embassy Suites downtown Rockford location! We also sell our homemade ice cream in partnership with local grocery stores in the Rockford area. We love to support other small, locally owned businesses and collaborate with or source ingredients from Halo Cupcakes, Edwards Apple Orchard, Freedlund Farms, Sugar Britches and Main Street Meets.
